The fabulous Jim Beaver aka our beloved Bobby Singer will be appearing at the Calabasas Library on the 17th May at 2pm to talk about his new book and for a book signing

Calabasas Library
200 Civic Center Way
Calabasas, CA 91302

Life's that Way was recently awarded a maximum 4 star rating  by People Magazine and tells the touching story of Jim's experience with the death of a loved one.

Knowing how much Jim has appreciated the support of the SPN fandom it would be great to get out there and show him some love (damn living in the UK !)

Full details can be found here www.cityofcalabasas.com/library.html#author

I am in touch with the lady running the event so please let me know if you have any questions and I will pass them on to her

For those of us unable to attend a book signingCollapse )

Jim Beaver was not interviewed on the Winchester Radio podcast, Sunday, May 3.

After discussion, Jim kindly agreed to postpone our interview so that in addition to talking about his book, "Life's That Way," he would have more freedom to answer questions about Supernatural's final episodes of season 4. The interview will now take place on Sunday, May 17, 2009. We will let you know the time as soon as it can be confirmed! We apologize for any inconvenience.

Greetings all ~

I'm new to this community so I hope you'll forgive me popping in, but I've a favor to ask of my fellow Jim Beaver fans. :-)

Now, I know this fandom sees lots of appeals for a bazillion worthy causes, and it's easy to become a little jaded to it all. We live busy lives, we've pressing things to do, and it's hard to take the extra time, even when we want to.

But Jim's memoir, "Life's That Way," bears special meaning to me, as a cancer survivor, and I'm here to ask people to please lend a moment of your time. WHY YOUR HELP MATTERS - PLEASE READ!Collapse )
